We’re proud to share that GenexAI has collaborated with Becton Dickinson on a research study recently published in the journal Value in Health, highlighting the role of AI in advancing evidence generation in healthcare.

The study explores the environmental burden of healthcare waste across European hospitals, leveraging AI-driven analysis to uncover significant variability in waste generation and management across countries.

This work demonstrates how structured data extraction and large-scale evidence review can be accelerated using AI — enabling teams to analyze complex datasets more efficiently and uncover insights that would otherwise require extensive manual effort.

At GenexAI, our platform focuses on automating the most time-intensive steps of evidence review — from abstract screening to full-text evaluation and data extraction — transforming processes that typically take days or weeks into workflows completed in hours.

Our collaboration with BD reflects a shared commitment to:

  • Improving the speed and quality of evidence generation
  • Enhancing data-driven decision-making in healthcare
  • Supporting more sustainable and informed healthcare systems

This publication is an important milestone, showcasing how AI can move beyond theory into real-world applications that deliver measurable impact.

We look forward to continuing our work with partners like BD to drive innovation in evidence review and healthcare analytics.
