GenexAI’s First Attendance at Slush 2024: A Gateway to Tech and Healthcare Synergy

GenexAI attended Slush for the first time this November, marking a significant milestone for our firm. Hosted in snowy Helsinki, Slush is renowned as one of the most founder-focused tech events in the world, bringing together over 13,000 attendees, including startup founders, investors, and thought leaders. This vibrant atmosphere offered the perfect stage for us to present our vision and engage with the broader tech and healthcare communities.

Throughout the two day event, we connected with participants from diverse sectors, discussing the transformative role of AI in addressing ongoing challenges in many different areas; we focused on meeting firms that are working on the healthcare firm such as SuperFlex and HugUp from Poland but also had the chance to speak with multinationals like AstraZeneca that had a strong presence in the event. Our conversations with potential investors were particularly valuable, providing us with feedback on how transformative and huge our solution can be and also better articulate the unique value GenexAI brings to the table. These discussions not only bolstered our confidence but also helped us identify strategic areas for growth.

Slush’s collaborative and innovation-driven culture also served as a launchpad for discovering emerging technologies and businesses that align with our mission. We had the opportunity to explore how other firms are pushing boundaries in areas such as digital health, biotech, and AI. Insights from these engagements are already influencing our roadmap, ensuring that we stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. Shout out to Delft-based Oasys Now, the EU’s first AI-powered patient recruitment platform, that was proclaimed winner of Slush 100 after pitching live on the international summit’s Startup Stage. This again reinforced how much attention AI and healthcare is getting.

Additionally, the event highlighted the importance of community in fostering innovation. The exchange of ideas with like-minded entrepreneurs and thought leaders reaffirmed our commitment to building solutions that not only address immediate challenges but also anticipate future needs in healthcare.
